The town

The Maltan archipelago is practically in the centre of the Mediterranean, 93 km from the south of Sicily and 288 km from the North of Africa. The archipelago is formed by three islands: Malta, Gozo and Comino. Malta is the biggest island and the administrative centre both culturally and commercially. Discover over 7000 years of fascinating history with a warm climate and magnificent beaches. La Valetta is the capital of Malta and is a World Heritage Site; it is ahead of Europe in art and architecture. The city of Gentlemen has stayed intact with its palaces and small boutiques. Sliema, San Gwann and St. Julian’s, are renowned for their white sandy beaches, both are the main tourist areas.

The school

The English classes take place in a school situated in St.Gwann or Naxxar, which is an extention of Silema. The classrooms are well equipped and are located in the centre of the town which has great public transport.

The accommodation

On this programme the students will stay in the Hotel Coastline **** situated in St. Paul’s Bay, a popular tourist destination, in the north of Malta. The hotel is just 15 minutes away from the centre for the English classes using public transport. The transport between the accommodation, the school and the activities is included. The students stay in spacious rooms with 3 to 4 beds equipped with a bathroom, TV, radio, balconies and air conditioning. The accommodation for the groups is full board, the breakfast and the dinner is served in the buffet restaurant of the hotel and the hotel provides a packed lunch for the students in the mornings.
