Ashford is a great, modern town situated in the County of Kent, 90 km from London and 30 km from Canterbury. In the centre of the city there is a mix of old and new, with their historic buildings and medieval houses, tree lined roads, floral displays, busy streets and exquisite boutiques. The historical trail of the city is evident with its old prison; its unusual fountain that commemorates the history of the train with the city, and the First World War Tank which honours their most recent history. Ashford is a town full of history, with two new shopping malls and boutiques.
On this course the English classes take place in the civic centre Centerpiece Halls, and forms part of the local parish, Centerpiece Church, it has fully equipped classrooms situated in the centre of the city.
Students are treated as another member of the family. Sharing accommodation with the families forces the students to communicate and improve their English and their conversation practice. In Student Travel Camps the same family accommodates up to two students of different nationalities and they are responsible for ensuring that they speak English throughout.
